Where humans and elephants come into conflict, Born Free tries to find ways to create tolerance that sometimes means relocating individual elephants from places of danger to safety. With support, orphaned elephants in Sri Lanka are cared for at the Elephant Transit Home’s intensive care unit and ultimately returned to the wild. And, of course, Born Free continues to oppose the keeping of elephants in captivity in zoos and circuses, their capture from the wild and their exploitation as diplomatic gifts. Shrinking elephant habitats and expanding human populations mean people and elephants increasingly come into contact.
Art Photographic is pleased to offer the following limited edition print images photographed by Alwyn R Coates and signed by Virginia Mckenna & Alwyn R Coates.
A percentage of profits from the sales of these prints will be donated to the Born Free Foundation.

Robin Bell celebrates 30 years of black and white printing with an exhibition at the Richard Young Gallery in London throughout November 2009. This retrospective illustrates Robin’s passion for the silver gelatin print and his anecdotal captions reveal a personal insight into his life and career. All one hundred and twenty images, selected and printed by Robin, are described as some of the favourite or most memorable photographs he has printed over the years, each with a personal slant.
Art Photographic is pleased to offer Robin Bell's Silver Footprint Book along with limited edition print images photographed by Alwyn R Coates from the same book. Each image is carefully hand printed by master black and white printer, Robin Bell, in silver gelatine at his London darkroom and then signed by the photographer.
